Fairfield City Council provides a wide range of services and facilities to residents, businesses, community organisations, government departments and agencies within the local government area. Boasting one of the most culturally diverse and unique communities in Australia, Fairfi eld has a rich and special vibrancy which is appropriately refl ected in the City motto, Celebrating Diversity.

Reflective of the area’s cultural diversity, the Council has 42 work sites and a workforce comprising of many occupations and nationalities. The positive change in Constructive behaviour, within our challenging and changing environment, is a strong indicator of a resilient organisation.

Increased focus on leadership and professional and personal development has led to a signifi cant improvement in Constructive behaviour. Management commitment and initiatives such as culture coaches and organisation development, has resulted in unique, innovative award winning programmes and improved delivery of community service.
