The Culture Transformation Achievement Award

Mingara Recreation Club is a sporting and cultural facility which is focused on making a significant contribution to the quality of community life in the New South Wales Central Coast area.

In order to provide consistently high levels of service and continual contribution to the community, Mingara realised the importance of building a Constructive organisational culture which would be supported by a set of agreements and an established common ‘blue’ language.

At the core of these shared values was a focus on personal development and responsibility, encouraging others to reach their full potential, celebrating successes whilst identifying areas for improvement, providing feedback and building self awareness.
